true price of the Video Phone

If you’ve only seen the video phone for the first time, it is quite an exciting device.  At $100.00 it really is a good deal.  As good as it is, we still have to face the fact that in order to enjoy such a device, we need to have the person on the other end of the call to have the same type of video phone.  So you should not really expect to spend around $100.00, frankly it would be more like around $272.00 plus the ridiculous California Tax (if applies)

Here is the possible break down

$99.99 – for the primary video phone = $100.00
$29.99 – home unlimited plan = $30.00 / month
$11.99 – video phone family plan = $12.00 / month
$129.99 – Video phone for the family plan =$130.00

Bottom line, in order to really appreciate this new wave of communications, one has to put out about $272.00 right of the bat and a monthly recurring bill of around $32.00 plus taxes and fees

Of course it will be easier if you could just get your friend or family to purchase one of their own 😛

Some would say this sounds expensive?  well….expensive, compared to what?

There isn’t really anything out in the market thus far, that will compare to the quality, ease of use and service that this phone has to offer. (at least none that I am aware of)  There are other VoIP services, but it is either they don’t have video or you would need to deal with a computer just to make a call.

Unless you really like talking to the representative that is selling you this phone, might as well get one for your loved ones, who you really love to see and talk to.  😛

  1. Is the video phone you are talking about the same as in this video phone review?

    • yes, all the video phones mentioned here refers only to one company, I am just trying to play by there rules. The company is very strict so I try my best not to be too specific.
